does each of those houses have a garden? is that a mattress?
no, i wouldnt use the term gardenyes thats a matress, 2 broken tele's and some non descript tubing out of shot
looking back on the bradford pics (more to come) it would seem they have a lack of tarmac (i think thats "asphalt" to the foreign), the front street to this is made up of mud (and matress, piping and hardcore)
